The Happiest of Flowers
I love capturing images of sunflowers because they make me happy. In fact, I learned that they are considered to be the "happiest of flowers" by many resources that I checked.
When thinking of sunflowers most think of tall stalks with the petals stretched toward the sun. One friend said that when she thinks of sunflowers she sees strength and vitality.
Although I agree with her, when I look at a sunflower I see personality. Many of these images look like the flower is dancing.
There are many types of sunflowers all with their own beauty. I especially love the color of this center.
This one seems to say that it is a bit shy.
I love the burnished color of these petals.
And when they start to fade they are still so impressive.
