Reflections

The other day I picked up my framed photo and took it to the Washington State Convention Center for the six-month exhibition that opens next month. When I saw it framed it made me want to go back to South Lake Union and capture more images. Taking photos of reflections on the water is right up there with taking images of flowers in my book, so I headed out the next day through the Seattle Center eventually ending up at The Center for Wooden Boats. The typewriter eraser is always a good place for me to start.

And MoPop was glowing in the morning sun.

I eventually made it to South Lake Union with a brief stop at the Historic Wharf.

Then on to The Center for Wooden Boats. This weekend the docks were reconfigured for a boat show near by, so the boats were not in their regular places. That made for a fun exploration.

The reflections were interesting even though the sky was overcast.

I always love taking photos of this boat. I loved the blue seat cushion and bumper.

When I was done, I left feeling refreshed on many levels. I always like being by the water and feel grateful that we have such an interesting and accessible lake in the middle of the city. I love hearing from you so comment below, post on Camera Walking's Facebook page, or send me an email.
