Just Wandering!
Wandering around with nowhere to go, specifically, or just relaxing your mind and looking at the scenery can do so much for your soul. We all read so many articles about the need to relax, but, rarely, in this fast-paced world, do we just take time to “zone out” and see the beauty around us…
We encourage people to get out each day for a brisk walk, but, sometimes, we just need to meander. I found a good article titled “Walking for Stress Relief” that was written several years ago, but is a good guide to follow:
“Find a quiet place”
“Go easy”
“Breathe away tension”
“Take time to unwind”
And CameraWalking adds that “taking your camera with you”, if you love to take pictures, is a wonderful way to de-stress!
