Books: Photo books are a great way to tell a story. Although there are many publishers available, one that I have gotten excited about is Mosaic Books by Mix Book. You can download the app on your phone (both Apple and Android) and create a book in less than 5 minutes! Take a look at this short video to see how easy it is to do.
The app allows you to choose 20 photos from your albums and Facebook timeline on your phone. The 7" x 7" book arrives in four days for $25 plus tax and shipping! A fun and creative gift for someone in your life.
Framed Photos: Most everyone appreciates a framed photo, and now SWORL makes it easy to select one from your phone for framing. In addition to my iPhone images, I have emailed processed photos from Lightroom to my phone, so that I can use the app. It works beautifully! This short video highlights how it is done.
Coloring Books: Yes, adults in the U.S. are embracing coloring books. I just discovered a new website where you can turn your Instagram photos into custom books for $25, or a one page digital download for $5.00. I uploaded a photo from Lightroom to make a coloring page and found it very easy. What fun!
Cards: Photo greeting cards are always great gifts. You can find many sources online to make cards, however I found Costco's online store to be a very affordable option. The 5" x 7" card below is printed on heavy stock and includes envelopes! They have a variety of sizes and styles, so check them out!
Puzzles: A fun gift for the puzzle maker in your life is to create jigsaw puzzles from your photos. I have been doing this for years for a friend of mine. You can find companies that make puzzles as large as 1,000 pieces, or as small as 85 pieces. I created a 385 piece puzzle from this photo through Printer Studios. The quality was good and the price was very reasonable.
